Stephen & I have been married since 1981. We lived and raised our three children in Bucksport, Maine. A few years ago we moved to Bangor to be closer to our Catering Business.  Our children are grown and we enjoy six grandchildren. We have many interests:  camping, four wheeling, fishing, traveling and of course business success.   

We share many strengths and expertise in different aspects of the daily business needs.   Our marriage and business partnership have been successful because of our commitment to each other, consistency, insight to change with the times, diligent work ethics and ability to empower others.

Creating the perfect setting, perfect menu and perfect facility is extremely important to me. Creating an environment perfecting the five senses of seeing, hearing, touching, tasting and smelling are vital to the success of the event industry as a whole. Most importantly, the greatest complement is to ensuring our guests appreciated and enjoyed a Spectacular Event as to return in the future.

To me, Spectacular Events Catering represents a place where people go to connect, gather in times of celebration, times of grief, meet fellow colleagues or train for something to enrich their lives, and in all situations in between.  The Spectacular Event Center supplies a needed set of experiences for this industry and we are proud to be the leader in providing them.  I understand first and last impressions are vital to the final emotional experience and knowing we have the opportunity to change lives is powerful and fulfilling.       

My satisfaction in the hospitality industry is when guests arrive and tell me they felt comfortable, the food was delicious, your friendly staff were so knowledgeable and our experience was Spectacular!   When guests walk into one of our fully set and decorated ballrooms to hear them say “Wow!”  Creating something most people don’t expect.
